We're almost a week in to 2014. How's it going so far? I can sum up 2014 thus far in one word: weather. It's supposed to be +10 degrees today, and if that happens, that's 40 DEGREES warmer than it was a week ago. The year started off bitterly cold, then we had a full-on blizzard (when the liquor store shuts down you KNOW shit's real) and today feels deceptively like spring.
Even though I didn't make any resolutions, it's feeling New Year's-y just the same. I have a salad with chicken for lunch, my gym bag is all packed for a midday workout, and I even brought a lemon to work so I can have some warm lemon water when the afternoon slump hits. The office is back to normal too and I have a huge list of projects both big and small to tackle...and I'm actually looking forward to getting going with them. Everything feels fresh and rah-rah.
Somewhere on the internets this week, I stumbled across this project: a year of lists. As someone who makes to-do lists for fun, this is something I can totally get behind. This week's list prompt was list the words that touch your soul. Here's what I came up with.
Happy first Monday of 2014, kiddos. I hope it's a good one!

Ahh! I love lists! I think I will actually buy the book off Amazon and try to keep up with the lists on my own blog! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteNo problem! I'm a listaholic so it should be easy to keep up :)

DeleteOh I love that! This seems like a fun challenge and one that actually doesn't seem too overwhelming to commit to!
ReplyDeleteThat's my thinking too...I make probably 10 lists a day, one more each week shouldn't be a problem!
DeleteYay for 52 projects! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't thank you enough for posting this! I'm only a couple weeks behind - time to dive in!!
