What I Wore Wednesday: October 10

Wednesday, October 10, 2012

It went from being summer to fall overnight. Last Wednesday I was wearing shorts; today layers are a must. It's cool, drizzly and damp and it finally feels like autumn.

Today is Eli's 11-month birthday, which I'm 50 shades of emo about. We're heading out for a hot chocolate date after lunch, meeting up with a fellow blogger to plan for an upcoming promotion on le blog (more on that later), and we may go shopping for a new coat for Eli. There may be a little applesauce-making in the mix later on. Eli's little hands will be good at peeling apples. Babies are usually best at manual labour.

Sweater: H&M
Scarf: Gift
Leggings: Garage
Boots: Globo
Earrings and bracelet: Stella & Dot
Watch: Gucci
Comfy and warm is the goal today. I haven't worn this watch in a long time but felt like bringing it back today. Usually I like a chunkier watch, especially with casual clothes. I'm happy to be able to wear my boots again too!

  4. I love your boots! I need a new leather pair for fall/winter. I'm being really picky because I know I'm going to spend a good bit of money if I want a good quality pair. I digress...
I fully agree, babies are the best at manual labor. Except for their attention span problem and tendency to put everything in their mouths. "You there, baby! You can't drive that forklift by gnawing on the steering wheel!"

    1. Yep, good quality boots that stand up to the elements are a pricey purchase for sure. I want a pair of Fryes but I just can't cough up the moolah.

    1. I had a pair of boots that were pretty forgiving in the legs... I think I found them at the Shoe Company. Don't know why so many boots are made for flamingo legs!
