Hi! I'm Amy. Welcome to my blog, which has been around for a few years now, been through some ups and downs, and is now a place where I (pretty sporadically) post about food I like to eat, times when my kid swears in public, my favourite products, funny things I find on the Internet, and the occasional well-intended burst of motherly advice.

I'm an East Coast kid, through and through. I have never lived more than 20 minutes from the ocean, I know all the words to Barrett's Privateers and Sonny's Dream, and I wear something striped almost every day.

I live near Halifax, Nova Scotia, with my husband Peter (married 10-17-09), our little boy Eli (born 11-10-11) and our Sheltie, Rory (he's been with us since 2010).

By day, I'm a content strategist at a digital marketing agency. The rest of the time, I'm running, cooking, reading, having a glass of wine, shopping online while moderately buzzed, or at the gym.

I'm happier outdoors than inside, and happiest at the beach. I love Pinterest, sushi, libraries, coffee, rap, fall, yoga, most sports (Red Sox/Maple Leafs/Patriots), and magazines. I do not enjoy Facebook, country music, cars with standard transmissions, lobster, the Montreal Canadiens, and public transportation.
